Leeds United have been linked with a move for the Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo.

According to reports, the likes of Wilfried Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville could leave the club before the summer transfer window closes and Leeds will have to replace them.

Matondo has been identified as an alternative and it remains to be seen whether Leeds can agree on a deal for the ex-Manchester City youth product.

The winger was reportedly spotted in the stands during Leeds United’s game against Cardiff and that has fuelled speculation surrounding a potential move to Elland Road.

The 22-year-old winger could prove to be a useful acquisition for Leeds in the final third. He will add goals and creativity to the attack.

The opportunity to join the English club could be an attractive proposition for the player and it remains to be seen with the Leeds are prepared to formalise their interest with a concrete proposal.

Ideally, Leeds will look to hold on to the likes of Gnonto and Summerville beyond this summer. Both players were impressive for them last season and they could be crucial to Leeds’s hopes of securing promotion to the Premier League.
