Youssoufa Moukoko could actually be 4 years older, reports the German magazine Bunte this Friday. The 18-year-old German international, who also became the youngest player to play a Bundesliga match in 2020, at the age of 16, is now at the heart of a new controversy.

The German publication has indeed published an alleged birth certificate of Youssoufa Moukoko, indicating that the native of Yaoundé was actually born on July 19, 2000, and would therefore be 22 years old. Information which thus contradicts the official German documents of the player, which certify a birth on November 20, 2004. The German press reports that the player himself would have sued Buntein an attempt to prevent the publication of this document, issued in Yaoundé under the name of Youssoufa Mohamadou (his father would be called Ousman Mohamadou).
