The shape of Tunisia

Eliminated by Burkina Faso in the quarter-finals of the last CAN (0-1), Tunisia changed coach by replacing Mondher Kebaier with Jalel Kadri. Since then, we cannot say that the Carthage Eagles are more attractive but their defensive qualities have allowed them to dismiss Mali in the World Cup play-offs (1-0, 0-0). The 5-1 rout in a friendly against Brazil was not reassuring but the Tunisians recovered just before the tournament by beating Iran 2-0.

Tunisia’s chances at the 2022 World Cup
