Marketa Vondrousova to beat Madison Keys

Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova is rapidly accumulating key Grand Slam experience and she can make it count with a win over Madison Keys in the quarter-finals of the US Open.

This is only the second time in the last five seasons that Keys has made it past the third round of the US Open and she could struggle against the power and big hitting of left-hander Vondrousova, who has lost just one set in four matches.

Alex Zverev +6.5 games v Carlos Alcaraz

Alex Zverev’s never-say-die attitude has seen him through to the last eight of this year’s US Open and he should also be competitive in his quarter-final tussle with top seed and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.

Alcaraz is still very much the man to beat in this half of the draw, with the Spaniard having won Wimbledon in July and dropped just one set so far at Flushing Meadows.

But Zverev is worth a bet at +6.5 games in this contest, having won three of his previous five meetings with the Spaniard.

Daniil Medvedev to beat Andrey Rublev

Not everything has gone according to plan this year for Daniil Medvedev, but the US Open third seed has enjoyed a healthy run of late and is worth backing to beat compatriot Andrey Rublev in the quarter-finals.

Medvedev was a semi-finalist at Wimbledon in July and warmed up for the US Open with a run to the quarter-finals of ATP Toronto.

And in New York he has looked pretty ruthless, dropping just two sets on his way to the last eight, so back him to come out on top.

Aryna Sabalenka to win 2-0 v Qinwen Zheng

Iga Swiatek’s early exit at this year’s US Open will have been music to the ears of Aryna Sabalenka, who is set to become world number one once the action is done and dusted in New York.

She has certainly been justifying that label so far in the season’s final Grand Slam, winning all four of her matches without dropping a set and she is a good bet to win 2-0 against Qinwen Zheng.
